Inspiration
I've been growing hops in my studio for the past month, and I know I want to make a fresh-hop beer with them at harvest, so I decided to put together a West Coast IPA recipe using some of the hops I'm growing - also inspired by Edward by Hill Farmstead - to try and get a good base down by the end of the summer. This recipe is essentially the All Together recipe from Other Half.

Batch Size: 18 liters
Original Gravity: 1.061
Final Gravity: 1.013
ABV (standard): 6.3%

(I used 3 base malts because that's what I had on hand)
Golden Promise 48.5%
Bohemian Pilsner 19.4%
Pale Malt 15.3%
Flaked Oats 12.9%

Columbus 35g @ 60
Columbus 25 g @ Whirlpool for 30min at 80-90C
Chinook 25 g @ Whirlpool for 30min at 80-90C
Centennial 25 g @ Whirlpool for 30min at 80-90C
Centennial 75g Dry Hop @ high krausen for 4 days
Columbus 40g Dry Hop @ high krausen for 4 days
Galaxy 30g Dry Hop @ high krausen for 4 days
Chinook 15g Dry Hop @ high krausen for 4 days
Mash Guidelines
67 °C for 60 min
76 °C for 10 min

US-05 x 1 packet

1.35g Campden (added to mash), 6g CaSO4(added to mash)
Add 5ml Lactic
Mash pH: 5.38
Pre-Boil: 22L/1.058
Add 3.5ml
Post-Boil: 1.061
Post-Boil pH: 5.15

Fermentation begins at 21C, unfortunately got up to 22C

12/05/2022 Transfer to keg, maintain 21C for another day
